I am John Doyle and I live in Irby, Wirral.
I’ve retired from teaching and I’m hoping to enjoy some quality shed-time but there’s a backlog of jobs to do around the house and garden. Hopefully, they’ll be finished within the next few years.
Occasionally, I surface from the shed to work on this website, my Irby Electronics website and my Irby Maths Shop which is on a website run by The Times Educational Supplement.
I developed Irby Electronics to sell electronic kits online and at craft fairs in the Merseyside area. These kits are intended for beginners. Some of the kits require soldering but many of the kits can be made without soldering. Please see the Irby Eelectronics tab for more details or click this link to go to the Irby Electronics website to see the range of electronic construction kits.
My Irby Maths Shop contains some of the resources I devised when I was teaching. Gradually, I am reformatting my resources and adding them to the shop collection. These resources can be downloaded by teachers, pupils or parents. Several resources can be downloaded for FREE!
Some resources just consist of questions for extra practice; other resources assume little starting knowledge and so contain notes, worked examples and questions. Answers are supplied in the resources. Please see the Irby Maths tab for further information or click this link to go the website to download maths resources at Irby Maths Shop.
